Binance Co-Founder Says Up to $5,000,000 in Rewards: Binance is offering a reward of up to $5 million to anyone who can find corruption in how the exchange adds cryptocurrency assets.
The co-founder of the company shared this information. Additionally, the global crypto exchange revealed on Monday that it plans to include Ronin (RON), which is a gaming-focused Ethereum (ETH) sidechain.
The value of the asset went up a lot in the last month, doubling in price. But soon after Binance announced it was going public, the value dropped by more than 28.5%.
Binance’s co-founder, Yi He, mentioned that they looked into it and found out that people outside the company noticed when Binance got RON tokens for users.
The person in charge at Binance mentioned that the company will improve how they list cryptocurrencies and make their internal management stronger.
They also mentioned that if there are any more leaks in the future, the affected listings will be canceled. Furthermore, the co-founder stated that Binance will give a big reward to anyone who helps identify people leaking information at the exchange.
“If you find out that people from Binance are doing something wrong, we’ll keep your identity secret and give you a bonus of $10,000 to $5 million for letting us know about any security issues. It’s easier and more profitable than reporting it elsewhere.”
In 2021, the company Sky Mavis released Ronin, the technology supporting the well-known game Axie Infinity (AXS).
